Quinta de Santa Eufemia

Our tour landed in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Douro Valley, Portugal, which is known for producing the renowned Port Wine that has been cherished by wine lovers since the middle ages when vineyards were first established in the region. Port wine is highly regulated and consistent in taste to maintain its reputation. During our visit, our vineyard host expressed gratitude for the Americana grapes planted in the Douro vineyards, which serve as the roots for the precious Port grapes. This is because Americana grapes provide strong roots that are perfectly suited to the Douro Valley's soil. If you're looking for the best libation, remember Quinta de Santa Eufemia.

The Santa Eufemia Winery was an extremely captivating experience. We had the opportunity to learn about the hard work put in by the family members, visit their personal chapel, and enjoy a delightful lunch accompanied by a tasting of their exquisite ports and wines. Our hospitable host even promised to share their treasured recipes with us, and we are excited to share them here.
