Roman Temple

The Roman Temple, with its striking 14 columns and ancient design, bears witness to the glory of the Romans in times past. Nowadays, the temple grounds serve as a venue for open-air concerts and events, and the illuminated ruins at night are a truly memorable sight.

Directions

Getting to the Roman Temple is easy. Simply make your way from the Town Hall to Praca do Sertario and pass through the Roman Arch, an ancient gateway to the city. Stay on Rua Dona Isabel then turn left on Casa Pintadas and you will find the temple.
