Pinhao
The Heart of Portugal Tour led us to indulge in a slice of paradise in Pinhao. The panoramic view of the lake, Douro Valley vineyards, bridge, and passing train on the hill welcomed visitors who could take in this breathtaking view from the balcony or terrace of the Vintage House Hotel.
Directions
The train station is conveniently situated across from the Vintage House Hotel, and visitors can take a train from either Porto Sao Bento or Campanha to reach Pinhao. Train tickets and information can be obtained from www.stcp.pt.
